Job Description

1. Sales Executive (Transpacific)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support with respect to the concerned trade lane.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling assigned inside sales accounts;
  • Promote service, expand new and potential account penetration and monitor their performance;
  • Prepare rate quotation, handle rate filing into pricing system;
  • Conduct market research and prepare sales reports;
  • Update customer relationship management system;
  • Prepare weekly and ad hoc sales reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any discipline with 1 - 2 years’ working experience in shipping / logistics industry;
  • Customer-oriented and committed to task;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active, independent and able to work under pressure;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
  • Proficiency in PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

 2. Sales Executive (APL)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality customer service to clients and giving sales and marketing support functions with respect to the Transpacific, Latin America, Inbound & Reefer Trade Lanes of APL.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage a sales territory while promoting Company’s broad range of services with focus on profitability, service excellence and customer satisfaction;
  • To achieve sales target, expand sales territory and account penetration;
  • To develop new accounts and explore new business opportunity to increase revenue;
  • To work closely with overseas counterparts to provide excellent account management;
  • To liaise with internal functional teams on service excellence and to meet customer’s needs;
  • To handle sales-related issues and enquires raised by customer;
  • To provide market intelligence to trade management;
  • To update sales activities on Customer Relationship Management system;
  • Any ad hoc projects assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration/ /Logistics / Marketing or related disciplines;
  • With at least 3 years sales and marketing experience in shipping / logistics industry;
  • Strong industry knowledge, experience in Transpacific, Latin America Inbound & Reefer trade is highly preferred;
  • Presentable, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Hands-on MS Office applications knowledge;
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, English & Mandarin;
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

 

 3. Inside Sales Executive (APL)  

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support with respect to the concerned trade lane.
