Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular business and performance reviews for sales and operations planning (SNOP) meetings, monitor regular issues based on (internal and suppliers) performance scorecards.
  • Determine the demand plan by analyzing sales and historical data to optimize stock level across the supply chain network.
  • Analyze and present the root causes on supply network issues, prepare reports and mitigation options for management decision. Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimise write-offs.
  • Ensure production schedules, progress, paper ordering status are up-to-date in OUP production system. Support in converting the production plan to cost estimations and printing instructions.
  • Arrange replenishment schedule & coordinate with different suppliers across the supply chain network, monitor and ensure stock deliveries are on track.
  • Communicate with suppliers and align with internal parties to resolve production and supply issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years related working experience
  • Experience in educational publishing, production planning, and SNOP will be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Excel, and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage. 
  • Strong self-motivation, attentiveness to details and ability to work under pressure
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is preferable
