We are a film production and distribution company with offices in Beijing and Hong Kong. We are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant for our Hong Kong office in Kwun Tong.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle full set of accounts
• Calculate & issue participation reports
• Monthly accruals and prepayments
• Prepare month-end results reporting
• Reconcile various balance sheets
• Maintain and analyze invoice log and AR registers
• Prepare invoices, collect balances and bank clearing
• Follow up on outstanding collections with clients
• Prepare monthly AR aging report
• Prepare cash flow forecasts for incoming receipts
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts
• Knowledge of film business accounting, knowledge / industry experience in film distribution / production are advantages
• High level understanding of accrual accounting and balance sheets
• Experience with royalty/participation & residuals reporting is a plus
• Proficiency in MS office application software
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua and English
