Reporting to the Group CEO, the Group Financial Controller will lead a sizable finance team in Hong Kong and China.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage and lead, as the primary person-in-charge, the financial and management reporting functions, particularly in the context of a listed company in Hong Kong;
• Ensure the completion of timely and accurate financial reporting deliverable and lead the management analysis based on various financial data;
• Manage and monitor the day-to-day financial operations in terms of treasury, cash management, financial management, planning, control, budgeting and tax matters;
• Develop and maintain relationship with financial institutions for liquidity management;
• Provide regular company secretarial support including production of announcements and circulars and facilitating Board meetings, other committee meetings and general meetings;
• Engage in business process improvement which is not limited in IT/ERP system upgrade,
• Assist in listing rules compliance; and
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, government authorities, etc. as necessary for the carrying out of the duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Certified Accountant qualification (equivalent to HKICPA) with at least 12 years post qualification experience gained from locally listed groups in the manufacturing industry;
• Professional accounting firm experience and exposure is a plus;
• Hands-on experience in business operational functions with functional knowledge of ERP system is preferred;
• Flexible to cope with varying multi-disciplinary activities and dynamic environment;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English and Chinese (including Mandarin); and
• Travelling outside Hong Kong, mainly to the PRC, is required.
