AAC is hiring a Senior Finance Manager for financial and accounting matters of the Group’s overseas operations.  The position reports directly to Financial Controller in Hong Kong

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibilities of financial accounting, reporting compliance of overseas operations and specifically statutory audit of overseas subsidiaries (such as applying the relevant accounting reporting standards)

• Overseas subsidiaries include Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Denmark, Czech (hence travel may be required)

• Work with internal tax team and external tax advisors on tax planning and compliance of overseas subsidiaries.

• Assisting in the financial management of overseas subsidiaries and supervising their finance departments, which include: 

1. Identify financial risks: currency, liquidity, interest rate exposure of overseas subsidiaries
2. Work with internal auditors on reviewing, implementing and improving key internal financial controls
3. Financial risk-management: financial analyses, budgeting and variances’ analyses
4. Planning, and execution of overseas’ treasury aspects
5. Ad hoc M&A/investment projects, including financial due diligence
6. Executing CAPEX and fixed assets management accounting

• Ownership of the overseas financial suite of the Group’s digital management system, SAP
• Any other relevant tasks that maybe assigned from time to time

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Professional qualified accountant, solid knowledge of IFRSs
• Regional exposure, solid 6+ years in industry, preferably, international businesses in electronics/technology sector, at least 3+ years management experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Fully English/Putonghua bi-lingual - written and oral
• Occasional travel is required
