Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising the daily operation of financial accounting department to ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting books and records of the bank
• Perform monthly financial accounts closing of the bank and subsidiaries
• Prepare regular financial reports and analysis to department head and management
• Assist in handling matters relating to SOX review as well as internal/external audit
• Assist in performing tasks relating to transfer pricing issues
• Liaise with overseas branches and head office on their enquires and auditors during internal audit and SOX review
• Assist in supervising the timely and accurate payments to vendors and internal claims
• Review and revise procedure manuals regularly to ensure the compliance with head office’s policies and procedures as well as prevailing rules and regulations
• Prepare ad hoc reports
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Holder of recognized professional accounting qualification, such as HKICPA
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably gained in financial institutions
• Experience/ knowledge in IFRS would be an advantage
• Experience/ knowledge in accounting systems (such as Oracle GL system, MYOB)
• Independent, self-initiative and good interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Offices
