Our client is an investment entrepreneur in China.  They are currently seeking for a seasoned Head of Finance to join their brand new private equity firm in Hong Kong. 

Responsibilities

• Report to the General Manager, manage the group finance operation and overseas the financial control functions of the group in order to meet the group’s short and long-term business objectives
• Handling financial accounting of headquarter and other entities, 
• Preparing month end closing, consolidation accounts, reconciliations and various 
• management reports 
• Handling the Financial accounts for the Private Equity Group headquarter; 
• Calculating the Fund’s overall IRR, preferred return and carried interest;  Partnering with the investment team to produce the valuation notes; 
• Dealing with tax representatives and auditors 

Requirements

• The ideal applicant will have at least 7 years relevant experience, preferably in start-up/ medium sized finance institutions or PE firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin is necessary.
• Solid knowledge and experience in finance and accounting, strong Analytical in problem solving and strong business acumen; 
• Highly motivated, responsible and able to work under pressure independently.
