Our client is a hospitality group with hotels, club houses and serviced apartments all around the world. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned finance professional to join as a Financial Controller for one of its key projects in HK:

Responsibilities

• Report to Group CFO, supervise a team of 5-7 to maintain daily finance and accounting operations
• Lead the annual financial planning process and provide strategic business analysis
• Work closely with senior management to drive financial and operational performance to achieve business targets and expansion plans
• Liaise with external and internal parties on matters relating to statutory audit, annual tax returns, company secretary documents, and other accounting or finance matters
• Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain strong internal control environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline
• HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 15 years’ relevant finance & accounting experience, with proven track record of working closely with senior management and leading a team
• Experience in hospitality, F&B and construction sector will be an advantage, but not a must
• Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills to advise internal & external parties in challenging business scenarios
