Job Duties:

• Maintain the full set of books for the Group:
  • To report to head office on all changes in the cash flow and investment;
  • To process invoices and prepare payments to vendors;
  • To prepare all financial reports and papers for management meetings;
  • To prepare monthly consolidated financial statements;
  • To handle inter-hotel and affiliated company billings and payments;
  • Liaise and coordinate with subsidiaries’ accountants, external auditors and other departments for the Group and subsidiaries and for all aspects of accounting, audit, tax and compliance;
    
    
• Assist in compiling all budgets and forecasts for the Group and its subsidiary companies;
  
  
• Administer and control financial and cash management;
  
  
• Prepare current account statements for owner;
  
  
• Reconcile the accounts receivable and payable transactions;
  
  
• Keep and safeguard all contracts and financial documents;
  
  
• Assist in implementing and streamlining the internal control procedures covering all activities of the hotel;
  
  
• Assist proactively with cost effectiveness, revenue enhancement, profit improvement opportunities and safeguarding of company’s assets;
  
  
• Assist in managing ad-hoc assignments/ projects as required.

Requirements:

• University graduate with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications;
  
  
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in consolidation processing and reporting gained from big 4 accounting firms or sizable multi-national corporations;
  
  
• Familiar with Hong Kong accounting standard, laws and taxation regulations;
  
  
• Excellent communications skills in written and spoken English and Chinese;
  
  
• Independent, self-motivated, capable to handle tight timeline;
  
  
• Ability to handle multi-tasks and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests;
  
  
• Well versed in MS Office and experience in using SAP is an advantage;
  
  
• Preferable prerequisite is experience in the Hotel industry;
