Our client is a global business risk and supply chain solution provider with strong business presence across Asia. In view of business expansion, we are looking for Accountant (General Accountant / General Ledger Accountant) in their regional office.

  • Supervise all regular accounting processes such as A/P, A/R, journal entries and monthly closure account
  • Organize company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements
  • Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions
  • Analyse general ledger accounts regularly
  • Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions
  • Assist departments in account reconciliation process on monthly basis. Monitor authorized account reconciliation process
  • Administer all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures monthly
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. Design and prepare audit schedules for external audit processors
  • Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned work
  • Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts
  • Provide support to safe keeping of internal expenses in company
  • Monitor account reconciliation, tax and calculations inclusive of cost accounting and data recording processes
  • Manage and maintain finance related programs and documents inclusive of future plans and programs
  • Evaluate current methods and processes inclusive of upgradation of process development
  • Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends

 

Key skills and expertise

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance discipline
  • Minimum 6 years experiences in accounting fields, background from big four accounting / CPA firm is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task  
  • Excellent time management, work flow and process improvement expertise
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese are essential
