Duties:

• Develop and maintain the quality code for education provision by the Army
• Develop and maintain curriculum policy mainly for pre-schools of the Army at the initial stage and extend to Schools of the Army ultimately
• Monitor the design, development and implementation of the curriculum of the Army
• Conduct evidence-based external reviews of the educational services provided by the Army
• Work closely with Senior Programme Officer (Research & Development) to conduct research and share information about good practice to improve education quality
• Provide training and events to help teaching staff to develop and improve their own quality assurance processes
• Work closely with Senior Programme Officer (Research & Development) to investigate needs and concerns about schooling education quality and standard
• Perform other legitimate duties as assigned by the Educational Services Director

Requirements:

• Understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
• Bachelor Degree in Education or relevant disciplines
• At least 5 years of post-degree experience in school curriculum related work
• Sound knowledge about Hong Kong education system and related government policies
• Track record of assisting/conducting school quality assurance work or activities
• Demonstrate good team work but also able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure
