Responsibilities:

• Take a leading role in organizing all aspects of fundraising events of different scale
• Recruit and service participants and volunteers
• Seek cash and in-kind sponsorship
• Control schedules, plan and implement all logistical arrangements
• Coordinate production and publicity
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor

Requirements:  

• Degree holder with at least 3 years’ relevant experience especially in arranging the logistics for outdoor events and at supervisory level
• Experience in Oxfam Trailwalker or keen interest in hiking activities is highly preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attentive to details
• Good team player, self-motivated and able to take up responsibility and solve problems independently
• Able to meet schedules and deadlines, handle multi-tasks and work under pressure
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing
• Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is highly desirable
