Job Description
OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Infrastructure Section - Systems Operation Unit
The appointee will be working for the Infrastructure Section under the Office of IT, whose primary responsibility is to administer UNIX (AIX), Linux and database (Sybase/DB2) system for the mission-critical application of the University. He/She will also be assisting in the support of SAN storage, web application, email service and authentication service.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline, with at least four years of relevant work experience. Experience in administering UNIX/Linux and database system is required. Knowledge in VMware, Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, LDAP, Radius, Perl/shell script programming will be advantageous. Self-motivation and good communication skill are essential.
Reference salary range: HK$20,000 - HK$30,000
