As part of team expansion, Sun Hung Kai and Co is looking to hire an investment analyst to work in the Principal Investments team under the special situation’s strategy.

The ideal candidate will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on investment opportunities across the capital structure in debt and equity. You will perform initial deal assessment, perform detailed due diligence, create and analyse financial models, and summarize findings in a succinct manner for presentation to the Investment Committee.

• Compile data into actionable reports
• Fundamental analysis on companies and sectors
• Primary research on the ground and information collection
• Prepare presentation materials
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Think strategically about improving company operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline
• Possess 2 to 5 years of work experience in financial institutions such as banks, buy side or professional services firms
• Exposure to equity and credit investments
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent leadership, communication and lateral thinking skills
• Strong command of verbal and written English, with Mandarin or other Asian languages preferred
