Key Responsibilities

• Assesses the design and operating effectiveness of the program taking into account changes in the business, legal and regulatory environment.
• Maintain an adequate system of customer data protection control and prepare MIS report on customer data protection
• Perform samples checking portage storage devices and e-mail activities; and
• Designs and Implements the bank's monitoring and surveillance program. 
• To participate in the review of compliance control and compliance policies & procedures
• Review the Management Information System reports from compliance perspective and identify any significant compliance issues from the reports for further actions
• Liaise with regulators and handle the ad hoc examination, surveys, enquiries raised by them from time to time

Requirements

• Degree holder preferably in Law, Accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years banking, legal, general audit or compliance experience,preferably in a sizable financial institution or regulatory bodies
• Good knowledge in banking laws, operations, products and services
• Possess a good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements relating to the compliance monitoring handled
• Self-motivated, independent and able to communicate effectively at all levels
