Job Description

Our client is a well established financial institution in Hong Kong with SFC Type 1, 4, 6 & 9 business licenses.  Currently, she is looking for a high calibre candidate to fulfill the following position:

 

 

Compliance Officer/ Assistant Manager

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain/ enhance compliance related policies and procedures as well as proper internal control to ensure that Company's activities are in compliance with latest statutory and regulatory requirements, in particular on SFC Type 1, 4, 6 & 9 licensed activities
  • Review and revise compliance manuals, policies, procedures and systems to keep abreast of new and regulatory changes
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings to the local regulator
  • Involve in facilitating any work improvement projects
  • Act as MIC
  • Handle ad hoc assignments related to compliance matters as required

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Law/ Banking/ Finance or related disciplines
  • At least 3-4 years compliance/ legal related experience in financial services institutions, preferably with exposure to SFC Type 1, 4, 6 & 9 licensed activities
  • Familiar with SFO guidelines/circulars and working knowledge of securities and futures products
  • Organized, detail-oriented, flexible with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
