We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proven Senior Interior Designer who has worked on international commercial mixed-use projects and has strong design skills with a creative design flare and portfolio to create functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically please spaces.

Ideally you will have a minimum (5) five years experience of taking projects from concept to completion. A forward thinking individual with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently along with proving solid and creative leadership to our dynamic team of professionals.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who have a proactive approach to interior design.

Our Senior Interior Designers should be prepared to support and lead in the following ways:

• Capable of handling multiple projects both on a local and international level
• Excellent presentation and project management skills to lead design meetings and workshops and to express design vision to the client and PLACE's design team
• Assist in marketing, business development and general representation of PLACE
• Solid project experience and knowledge of each architectural design phase, from concept, schematic, design development, working drawings, tenders to construction
• Able to evaluate alternatives in order to develop solutions while maintaining design intent and technical quality in collaboration with the client, local architect, consultants, contractors and vendors
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment with PLACE's architectural team to provide guidance and mentorship in all aspects of conceptual design through to production of detailed working drawings, renderings and animation
• Work with integrity, trust and commitment. 

Qualifications:

• Min 5+ years' combined study and practical experience working in workplace and commercial design
• Bachelor's Degree or qualifications related to Architecture or Interior Design

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Fluent in English and Cantonese (communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage)
• High level of energy, creativity and imagination
• Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with computer-aided design, such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, Lumion and other design and rendering software
• A keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to see the bigger picture of a project
• Organisational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and mathematical ability
• Leadership skills as will as the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
• An awareness of the specific environment and social impacts of PLACE projects.
