RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform day-to-day building management and inspection services, oversee property maintenance
2. Supervise and carry out the repair and maintenance work of all Army properties
3. Carry out repair and improvement works to upkeep the building condition, such as painting works, repair or replace the broken facilities or equipment, filters cleaning, builder works, E&M works, etc
4. Check all building facilities to ensure they are in proper functions
5. Supervise and monitor Mechanics and contractors’ performance
6. Provide technical support, carry out renovation & repair works to all quarters and the Army’s properties
7. Handle emergencies incidents or building facilities failure outside the office hours
8. Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by supervisor and management

REQUIREMENTS

1. An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
2. Higher Diploma/Higher Certificate in Architecture / Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
3. Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade B), with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Electrical, Mechanical & A/C Plant maintenance and repairing with at least 2 years in supervisory level
4. Good PC knowledge of MS Word and Excel
5. Possess valid Type B Electrician license
6. Possess valid Hong Kong Driving License Codes 1 and 2 is preferred
7. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
8. Shift-duty work may be required
9. Candidates with less experience and qualification will be considered as Mechanics/Technician
