Role Description

• Assist project team leaders in delivering complex projects through to a successful completion.  You will be required to have an understanding of the specific components of such projects from procurement through to implementation.  Skills in concept development and communication are important, as is the ability to be a team player within highly motivated design and documentation teams

Key Skills and Experience

• Qualification in Landscape Architecture and/or Architecture
• Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience
• Microsoft Office skills
• Intermediate AutoCAD and/or ADT skills preferred
• Proficiency in Rhino and Revit a PLUS
• Adobe Suite skills preferred
• Documentation skills and experience
• Professional presentation skills

Key Activities

• Assist the team in the delivery of landscape architecture projects from initial sketch design, detailed design, documentation, through to contract administration.
• Prepare graphic presentations of design proposals using a variety of documentation and visualisation software including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketch-Up.
• Assist the team leader in the contract administration phase of small projects undertaking on-site and desk-top tasks as directed.
• Work in a team environment offering design and project advice to the team leaders as required.
• Undertake tasks diligently using sound principles of landscape architecture and /or architectural knowledge.
• Co-operate with all Occupational Health and Safety policies and legislative requirements.

Working Conditions

• 9:00am to 5:30pm (Flexibility in working hours to meet deadlines is imperative and a requirement of the position.  This may mean after hours and weekend work occasionally.)
• Open plan studio
• Possible site meetings and inspections
