Job Description

The manager supports the implementation of the firm’s business strategy. The manager is responsible for the financial operations and reporting, as well as the administration department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial and administration activities to achieve financial goals and ensure a smooth office operation
  • Identify and resolve any issues
  • Develop appropriate procedures

Finance - 

  • Implement fiscal management practices and internal financial controls
  • Establish and drive improvements in operational processes, ERP usage and practices 
  • Ensure budgeting and accounting functions comply with Group and statutory requirements
  • Collect, interpret and review financial information. Provide financial insight and advice 
  • Prepare annual budget, bi-annual forecasts, financial reports and analysis for the management and the Group
  • Respond to management’s queries

Admin -

  • Manage admin team and build an efficient practice
  • Ensure relevant  training and guidance to finance and admin teams
  • Supervising  office maintenance, facilities, office supplies procurement, mailing and reception
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure the best use of resources
  • Liaise with insurance broker and related regulatory bodies
  • Assist management in communications with staff  
  • Liaise with professional accounting body and internal talent management team for approved employer program
  • Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by management  

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in business, finance, accounting, or related disciplines
  • Accounting qualification is preferable
  • 5 years of work experience in related areas
  • Managerial experience in managing a team
  • Experience in managing financial operations in medium size organization, including use of ERP system
  • Good understanding of professional service industry practices and strong business acumen
  • Acute analytical skills
  • High standard of integrity and honesty
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable and resilient
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
