Responsibilities

• Build reusable code and libraries according to different business logic.
• Own the products' backend API & business logic implementation (PHP).
• Work closely with front-end developer and QA team and project manager in driving business goals and rapidly product iteration.
• Stay current with industry trends; analyze and use best modern tools for the job; push boundaries.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or related discipline. Candidates from other disciplines with proven skills and working experience will also be considered.
• At least 2 years’ hands on experience in PHP web applications development. More experienced candidates will be considered for senior roles.
• Proficient in PHP/Yii Framework for high performance/scalable web application.
• Familiar with REST API development and multi-tiers web-based application development (MVC model).
• Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL developmentand hands on experience with ORM
• Familiar with Linux/Git.
• Experience with NoSQL, NodeJS, Python, Java, Go, C#, Kafka,RabbitMQ, etc. is a plus.
• Experienced in AWS is a plus.
• Experienced in FinTech/Stock/Fund/Auto-Trading is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
• A love for developing software and solving difficult problems with simple solutions
• A true passion for entrepreneurship and changing the status quo. A never-ending desire to grow and learn.
• Good problem solving skill for handling system operations issue.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, detail minded and result oriented.
• Able to work independently and meet tight schedule.
