Department of Marketing

The appointee will be working on research project related to responsible consumption under an educational conversation community programme funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Duties will involve data collection and analysis, literature review, and report writing with text and graphics as well as other administrative tasks as assigned by the Department Head, Project and Research Leaders.

Applicants should have/be:

• a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or other Social Science disciplines;
• experience in marketing research, such as doing literature review, analysing data (i.e. cleaning data sets, preliminary analysis for data outputs), conducting laboratory and field studies;
• knowledge and experience of data analyses, preferably with skills in using SPSS and graphic processing software;
• good command of spoken and written English, and be able to communicate in Cantonese and Putonghua; and
• hardworking, responsible, fast learning and detail-oriented.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year.  Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
