ERM Hong Kong is seeking candidates to join our team of world-class consultants for HSE and Risk Management. ERM is growing its business in our Safety Services and is looking for individuals who are experienced in the areas of occupational health & safety, safety culture transformation, and process safety. The successful candidate will provide professional consultancy services as a trusted safety advisor to ERM’s clients within the oil & gas, chemical, power, manufacturing, and technology, media & telecommunications industries in Asia Pacific. The candidate should be an energetic and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and willing to travel to countries within Asia Pacific occasionally.

Candidates must have relevant experience in the following areas:

•            Occupational Health & Safety including experience with Hong Kong Labour Laws and international standards, e.g. ISO 45001, is preferred
•            Able to perform risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigations, safety audits and/or site safety inspections
•            Have experience with on-site work and exposure to its safety requirements, e.g. construction site, manufacturing floor, etc.
•            Knowledge or experience with health & safety training, permit to work, HSE Management Systems, working at height, confined space entry.

REQUIREMENTS:

•            A recognized degree in engineering with post-graduate diploma or higher qualifications in occupational health & safety, or equivalent.
•            At least 1-3+ years relevant working experience in risk management and occupational health & safety at an operating facility, factory, plant, or site.
•            Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
•            Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
•            Strong analytical and data management skills.
•            Willing to travel to various countries in Asia Pacific occasionally based on project requirements.
•            Candidates must be motivated, independent individuals with initiative, who can work autonomously and are committed to delivering the highest quality services to our clients

Candidates who can demonstrate a higher qualification and level of experience can be considered for a senior consultant role.
