Job description and responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of this position include: indoor location service algorithm (positioning, navigation, way-finding) design and software development on iOS and Android platforms; conduct on site testings; communicate consistently with peers, management, and stakeholders; conform to requirements and standards for each project; proactively seek improvements for algorithms, software, and processes. Tailor-make user interface design according to clients' specific requirements.
Skills & Requirements
This job will be filled as a level 1 or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Candidates with academic research experience preferred. Coursework and/or experience in control theory and/or signal processing in inertial navigation, Kalman filer design, detection theory, sensors fusion, Bluetooth and/or algorithm development also preferred. Familiar with both iOS and Android OS app development. Experience with programming languages: Java, Javascript, C++, Objective C, Swift.
