CONTEXT

After years working on developing a breakthrough display technology in the booming market of large format digital display, along with the set-up of a pilot manufacturing plant in Hong Kong, Deepsky is experiencing an exponential growth with global customers.

Deepsky is building a line of fully automated, mass-manufacturing grade, production equipments to transform years of R&D efforts into a modern production capacity. The development of these equipments involve most technical teams at Deepsky: Mechanics, Robotics, Software, R&D Process, Supplies and Manufacturing.

In this context, Deepsky is looking for a pragmatic, hands-on Machine Engineer to handle the assembly and details wiring of the machines with good quality control. For less certificated candidate,  titled will be Machine Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in machine building process, both mechanical and electrical.
• Assist in machine cabling and routing.
• Organize and keep the building site tidy and efficient.
• Assist in machines operation, setup, tests and validation.
• Transfer to the internal pilot manufacturing team, gather feedbacks and implement continuous improvements.
• Assist in machine documentation.
• Manage and stock keeping of machine related material.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Degree holder in Engineering disciplines or similar is preferred (Less certificated will be titled as Machine Technician)
• Good command in English and Chinese
• Organized and familiar with machine building tools and technical
• Interested in machine building and willing to learn
• Basic quality concept
