l   Prepare the purchase plan & to place order for stock items. (EX: Target inventory level, Order lead-time, MOQ of the items, Shipping cost)

l   Ensure alignment of Supply Planning Forecast with Sales Estimate.

l   Work with the support teams to understand promotions and product launches for the coming months / seasons, in order to build an accurate supply plan.

l   Liaise with the commercial teams and suppliers to understand products sales trend & future events that will influence inventory requirements, and then plan accordingly.

l   Work with the warehouse team to optimize warehouse inventory and inbound receiving schedule with the objective to improve efficiency and reduce cost

l   Manage and develop with other Supply Chain & Operations functions to define and measure Key SCM metrics, such as forecast accuracy, fulfillment rate, sourcing lead-time, inventory level / turn / aging, savings on freight costs, etc.

l   Lead, coach and develop the Supply Planning and Shipping team

l   Work with cross functions and the Group IT team on the development and enhancement execution of the ERP System.

 

Requirement :

l   Over 8 years relevant work experience in FMCG or Food Industry

l   Good command of spoken and written English

l   Solid working knowledge of supply chain management principles, particularly concepts, processes, systems and procedures related to Planning and Inventory Management

l   Thorough understanding of forecasting techniques/applications, insight into the financial and operational implications inherent in supply chain decision making

l   Strong computer skills and knowledge, including advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, ERP and Microsoft Access database are required. The ideal candidate should have the ability to perform advanced Excel techniques for statistical analysis and reporting required.

l   Solid experience in managing freight, consolidating and scheduling shipment and conducting RFQ.

l   A good track record on process improvement, cost reduction, inventory optimization and fulfillment rate improvement.

l   Possess strong business sense, results oriented and focus on continuous improvement

l   Excellent planning, organization, problem solving skills and good sense of priorities
