Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Based on costing and production planning information, decide where to place the manufacturing orders (inbound and/or outbound factories)
  • Increase further our outbound factory network solutions and ensure backup factory solutions for all product categories in Asia
  • Develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with partner factories and our own factories
  • Negotiate the best price with our partner factories and ensure on time delivery
  • Monitor the production process to ensure an on time delivery
  • Work closely with our merchandising team, costing team and production planning team
  • Ensure that quality requirements are set, approval of limit samples and follow up golden sealed sample
  • Establish quality control procedures in conjunction with company technical resources and supply chain partners.
  • Work to resolve customer complaints and problems
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain activities standards and regulations
  • Strategic sourcing and factory capacity planning, build up long term partnership and factory solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or Logistics or Sourcing or Supply Chain
  • Management or other relevant background
  •  3-5+ years experience in a similar position (Bag, luggage or textile industry preferred)
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Highly organized and efficient in time management
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work with minimal supervision
  • Rational and analytic thinking
  • Strong MS Office skills and knowledge of ERP-system and databases
  • Ability to travel 20-30% both domestic and overseas
