Executive Officer II (Ref. 190000WH) (Closing date: May 21, 2019)
The appointee will (a) supervise a team responsible for the daily operations of an academic department, including human resources matters, purchasing and accounting, and maintaining student academic records; (b) assist in the execution of Faculty-/University-wide projects and activities; (c) provide secretarial support for committees; and (d) perform other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification executive experience; (iv) a good command of Chinese and English; (v) excellent organisational, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines; (vii) a self-motivated and hard-working attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility and ethics; and (viii) computer literacy. Excellent multitasking skills will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
