The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, founded in 1965, is a self-financing unit with the mission to provide quality lifelong education to the community. The School offers a wide variety of courses and programmes in diversified disciplines at city learning centres. CUSCS now invites applications for Executive Officer II(s) to support the operation and development of the School’s Central Learning Centre.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related discipline, preferably with a higher degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification executive, service management and/or administrative work experience, preferably with work experience at tertiary institutions; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) strong analytical ability and organisational skills; and (vi) excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and self-motivation. Experience in marketing, event management and facility management will be advantageous.

Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications may NOT be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language test.

Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
