Our bank client hires talents like you to be their Senior Operational Risk Manager (Digital Risk Control).

Responsibilities

l   Identify control weaknesses in the assessment of the digital risk arise from existing or new product and business through on-going monitoring and make value-added recommendations for improvement

l   Develop and conduct on-going review of the Bank Group’s digital control framework and recommend enhancements to comply with the regulatory requirements and market best practice (including cyber and information security)

l   Keep Senior Management abreast of the latest trends and updates on Digital/FINTECH developments and the emerging risks (Conduct training where appropriate)

l   Identify and lead the implementation of digital initiatives covered in the annual risk management plan and as assigned by GCRO and Head of DRCS

l   Assist in promoting risk culture and awareness within the Bank Group, enhancing staff’s familiarity with the Digital Risk Control framework and regulatory requirements

Requirements

l   University graduate or relevant professional qualification

l   5-10 years' industry experience in technology and/or risk management (preferably operational risk management)

l   Experience of technology regulatory or business landscape in one of more of the following areas:

l   Information security, cyber security, technology risk management, big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, fintechs

l   Educational background in computer science, information security or finance (accounting or law)

l   Ability to cope with the evolution of the technology risk governance compared to a traditional bank

l   Excellent communication and organizational skills, business, innovative and inquisitive mindset, tech savvy

l   Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
