Job description:

Asset Benchmark Research conducts surveys and provides market insights for a variety of financial market clients including banks, asset managers, exchanges and financial data vendors. We are looking for a researcher who will be responsible for interviewing senior-level finance professionals, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and developing business.

The successful applicant will communicate with senior decision makers in the investment and corporate finance communities on a daily basis.  We thus require candidates to have both the confidence as well as courtesy necessary to speak with senior executives, while keeping abreast of the latest developments in complex and, at times, niche financial market topics.

Job requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience in the editorial or research fields;
• A robust understanding of financial markets and strong interest to grow this understanding, particularly with respect to Asia;
• Excellent writing skills that identify and present key pieces of information in an interesting format;
• Excellent verbal communication and analytical skills;
• Fluency in spoken and written English with knowledge of Putonghua or another Asian language an advantage;
• Mature, independent and detail-oriented;
• Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative;
