The role of the Draughtsman is to create technical drawings for Elekta machines on site floor plan based on given specifications. He/she will work closely with the internal stakeholders including but not limited to Solution Experts, Project Managers and Sales Account Managers etc. to understand the specifications and requirements. Then he/she will incorporate these specifications into drawings and plans that will be used in the Turnkey Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by Solution Experts and/or other internal stakeholders.
• Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specifications.
• Assist and coordinate with Solution Experts.
• Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.
• Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by the internal stakeholders including but not limited to Solution Experts, Project Managers and Sales Account Managers etc.
• Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
• Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Accommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings.

REQUIREMENTS

• IVE/Diploma or higher in Interior Design or related discipline
• 1 to 2 years relevant experience
• Good drafting technique and knowledge in CAD
• Good spoken English
• Team player and good working attitude
