Department of Social Work

The appointee is expected to supervise undergraduate or postgraduate students in the Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Sciences in Social Work programmes.

Duties include: (a) supervising students in fieldwork placements; (b) organising orientation programmes; and (c) providing skills training and group tutoring to students.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in relevant areas;
• professional qualification of a Registered Social Worker;
• at least five years of related professional practice;
• experience in teaching or field work supervision (preferably in the fields of elderly, rehabilitation and family) is an advantage; and
• proficiency in both Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.

Appointment will commence in September 2019.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
