Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving the overall financial performance and management reporting of a private Company Group. Your duties will include preparing financial statements, group report on budget vs forecast and cost analysis, monitoring performance against approved budget, analysis on product-line differentiation, as well as making recommendations on expenditures and cost containment for all regional or Group Companies.  You will also be responsible for monitoring receipts and payments to improve cash flow and return, perform credit management and control.  Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to the Senior Management at any time on business projects.  These duties will require you to work closely with Operations, Commercial & Sales teams as well as the Senior Management team.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Act as a business partner to different departments by providing sound financial consulting and strategic support.  Set up financial modeling and provide periodical financial planning and strategic analysis with insightful recommendation to the Senior Management
• Drive internal control, compliance and risk management initiatives across the Group and Zone Offices
• Timely production of accurate statutory and internal financial reports
• Closely monitor the performance of all regional offices to ensure expenditures are strictly complied against budget and forecast at the corporate level
• Provide cost analysis, cost control initiatives and performance monitoring
• Cash management, treasury duties and control
• Responsible on credit analysis and control of business clients and the associated trade insurance
• Oversee the management of the finance functions and maintain proper internal control and maximize operational efficiency
• Set up important procedures of the financial and management accounting functions
• Initiate structural change to secure and optimize group positioning on taxation
• Lead and manage corporate changes and special projects as assigned by the Senior Management with close liaison with the external stakeholders eg auditor, lawyer and bankers
• Responsible on full spectrum of company secretarial duties across the Group
• Handle the legal matters of the Group Companies

Adopt ‘hands-on approach’ to more senior or complicated tasks when the subordinates have difficulties in handling or during tight time constraint of meeting deadlines

Job Requirements:

• Fully qualified degree ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience
• At least 15 years relevant experience in accounting and finance including 10 years at managerial level
• An articulated, confident self-starter who possesses excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels in the Group
• Strong sense of responsibility and business acumen with high integrity and ethics to work in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making with a hands on approach
• Proven experience in managing and developing people, whether direct or indirect reports
• Proficient in MS Office eg Excel, Powerpoint and ERP Accounting System
• Knowledge of taxation and reporting in Mainland China and Singapore
• Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders located globally
• Periodic traveling is required
