Our client, a well-established bank, is now seeking an experienced candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing risk analysis and stress testing for assigned risk areas including market risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk;
• Perform value calculation and conduct risk modeling & validation and quantitative analysis
• Lead market risk and liquidity risk functions in Hong Kong
• Ensure a robust risk control framework in line with group guidelines is implemented, and the function responds adequately and in a timely manner to all requirements from HQ, regulators and business stakeholders
• Represent Market Risk and Liquidity Risk in different committees and meetings, e.g. monthly ALCO committees, HK Risk Committee
• Ensure all policies and procedures are well documented and updated regularly, in accordance with group documentation and relevant regulatory updates
• Prepare regular presentations to present relevant marker risk and liquidity risk topics

Requirements:

• Degree holder in finance, risk management, engineering and/or quantitative or related disciplines
• Qualifications In FRM And/or CFA Will Be An Advantage
• Minimum 8 years’ work experience in risk management methodology, market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, model validation and/or fair value in banks
• Good knowledge of HKFRS-9 Requirements and Basel Requirements
• Experienced in fixed income, interest rate, FX, treasury and/or associated derivatives for investment banking, commercial banking and/or retail banking
• Proficiency in visual basic, SAS and other programming languages and databases will be a plus
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
