The Job: 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative apps and products for now TV such as nowplayer app, nowplayer junior app and various now TV online services. You will be managing enhancements, performance and quality of existing products including Video-On-Demand and Interactive Services. 

You will take full responsibility for the whole product development cycle. You have to lead various technical parties and business teams on product development including feasibility study, user interface, service / product design, vendor / solution evaluation, business requirement analysis, technical requirement specifications, testing and budget control with the prime objective to meet business targets, drive shorter time to market and deliver better quality of services. 

You are required to coordinate with multiple operation and supporting teams to define workable process and efficient practice and procedures for rolling out mobile app feature, together with managing day-to-day operations of related products and services. 

You are also required to develop business acumen and strong technical knowledge in applying various technologies to real products, and identifying opportunities for new product and infrastructure in the long term benefits of the business. 

The Person:  

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines
• At least 5 years’ solid experience in product development and/or management; relevance in internet, multimedia, telecom, TV or new media business is an advantage
• Experience in designing, developing or managing mobile apps is an advantage
• Excellent leadership, project management and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and result-oriented with strong analytical thinking
• Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for Product Development Manager
