THE JOB

• Assist with designing and extending our data lake
• Build and maintain code to manage data received from heterogeneous sources including mobile, web - based sources, internal/external databases, flat files, heterogeneous data formats (binary, ASCII, audio/visual etc.)
• Perform all necessary data transformations to populate data into a warehouse optimised for data mining
• Design, build and support data formats, conversion, validation, XML, Json
• Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes

THE PERSON

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years relevant experience, relevant certification will be a strong plus.Hands on experience with RedShift, REDIS, ElasticSearch is a must
• Hands on experience with NoSQL DB's such as MongoDB, DynamoDB preferred
• Solid experience in designing data warehouses
• Solid experience in custom ELT design, implementation and maintenance
