Job Description

INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICE

The appointee will report to the Director of Internal Audit. He/She will be responsible for i) assisting in conducting risk assessments and formulating strategic work plans; ii) leading/performing audit assignments and be actively involved in reviewing internal control systems, risk management processes and corporate governance practices; iii) preparing internal audit reports and making practical and value-added recommendations for continuous process improvement and adoption of best practices; iv) preparing management reports; and v) carrying out ad hoc assignments and providing advisory service when required. Occasional traveling to PRC is required.

Applicants should possess a recognised university degree with relevant professional qualifications such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA. They should have at least ten years of experience in information technology auditing, preferable in sizeable organisations or public accounting firms, of which at least four years at managerial level. Proven experience in auditing IT operations, IT infrastructure, system development activities and projects, in performing integrated audit of internal controls, and in using data analytics/computer assisted audit techniques is essential. Strong knowledge of common technology and information security. Capable of performing non-IT operational audits will be an advantage. They should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua). They are expected to be self-motivated, willing to accept new challenges and able to manage multiple assignments under pressure. Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills are required. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
