Executive Summary:

• A global company with over 50 years of business presence in multiple industries including retail, logistics, healthcare and financial services.
• Newly created role to drive IT innovations and digital strategies.
• Lead the IT operations (x25 staffs) in Hong Kong; Report directly into Country Managing Director
• Salary at HKD1.2M to HKD1.4M per annum for the right candidate

Major Responsibilities:

• Primary person to drive IT business success for multiple business organizations
• Responsible for overall IT operation leadership and architecture, that enables and releases, the maximum business value of Technology for our clients.
• Contributing to the global technology and digital strategies which is feasible to be adopted in the Asia market
• Work closely with senior management to achieve strategic business goals using New IT such as Automation, Data Analytics, Cloud and Digital Solutions
• Identify any potential area for improvement or problems
• Provide proactive consultation and advices to the business and users to enhance business efficiency and customer experience
• Plan new IT project priorities and facilitate the timely and quality delivery
• Effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences
• Shape and deliver IT transformation through provision of strategy, consulting, digital and technology and operations

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Information System Management, Computer Science or any equivalent disciplines
• Project/ Programme Management experience, with professional qualification a bonus.
• Minimum of 15 years in Information Technology with a minimum of recent 6 years in a Senior Manager (or above) position within sizable corporate in-house organizations or professional services firms
• Prior work experience working in a global and regional team structure where he/ she needed to communicate and manage regional senior stakeholders
• Track record in driving transformation program including business process re-engineering, digitalization programs
• Knowledge and experience in delivering technology enabled change to an organization.
• An ability to identify opportunities for value creation based on this deep understanding of specific areas of New and modern technology
• A passion and commitment to New IT and a drive to influence the way these are evolving and delivered.
• Excellent convincing, business case presentation, consulting and analytical skills
• Outstanding language skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
• Occasional travel will be required
