Software Development Manager

idNerd is looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage software development projects within the casino & gaming market. As a project manager you will be responsible for delivering solutions for our team and working with our engineering team through all steps from concept to analysis, design and implementation and release.

The candidate will be able to strike the right balance between understanding engineering opportunities and constraints, mastering business analytics, and thinking holistically from the user perspective.

Job Duties:

• Day-to-day project management of approx. 2 software development projects,
• Plan sprints, manage backlog and delegate tasks as appropriate,
• Liaise between stakeholders and team,
• Project and communicate delivery dates and details both internally and externally for stakeholder or public consumption
• Support documentation and marketing
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

Requirements:

• Experience with Scrum (or other agile methodology),
• Previous experience managing small development teams (2-4 developers),
• Delivery of regular progress reports to senior management,
• Confident with project management tools like Trello, Pivotal, JIRA and Smartsheet,
• Experience in software development is a must.
• Experience in coding is a plus.
