Job Description

A leading multinational financial institution is now looking for a high caliber individual to join their IT infrastructure services team. 

Job Summary

The information security manager is the process owner for the development and implementation of an organization-wide information security program and ongoing activities to preserve the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information resources in compliance with applicable security policies, standards and regulatory requirement.

This position consults and partners with internal technical resources and other Information Security personnel to enforce and verify compliance of information security standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leads development, documentation and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards across Asia Region
  • Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to create information security awareness throughout organization.
  • Develop the Cloud Security Strategy
  • Designs and monitor the security of SDLC in both traditional and DevSecOps universes.
  • Responsible to internal vulnerability management, Security metrics, DLP, pen-test coordination and reporting.
  • Responsibility to InfoSec compliance verification and audit preparation activities.    
  • Performs onsite control testing to determine compliance with local and global security standards.
  • Provides InfoSec support to company’s projects and programs.
  • Monitors and Controls internal, county units and third-party information security operation and maturity.
  • Monitor changes that may affect information security, and make recommendations on the need for policy changes.
  • Assists other business units in information security development and serve as the primary point of contact for regional security issues.
  • Assists and performs information security related entitlement reviews.
  • Participates in global information security working groups.
  • Performs other information security related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline

 

Typical Minimum Experience

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Institution IT field; with over 5 years in technology risk and information security experience.

 

Job Requirements

  • CISSP/ CCSP/CISM certification is preferred
  • Familiar with up-to-date IT related regulatory requirements (i.e. HKIA, MAS and ISO27001/27002 etc.)
  • Cloud Security
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Proficiency in spoken /written English and spoken Cantonese, with Mandarin is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Out-going and Open-minded
