The Regional EuCliD Server and Network Administrators’ role is primarily focused on the businesses health information system and networks. The role is to manage and tune in-house computer software system and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with the company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Participate in and support capacity planning and development of long-term strategic goals for system and software
• Perform network and security audits
• Perform and test routine system backups and restores
• System backups and disaster recovery planning, testing and implementation
• Recommend, schedule, and perform database, software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations and/or purchases
• Conduct research on emerging product, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts
• Management and/or provide guidance to contracted and regional members of the team
• Provide business technical support for our health information systems

Qualification, Experience and Characteristics Required:

• 3 years of experience in system administration and server level support
• Ability and experience supporting both Microsoft Active Directory and Linux environments
• Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Information Systems
• Experience administration Lotus systems is desirable (e.g. Notes, Domino sand Sametime)
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and product as required
• Ability to present ideas and solution in user-friendly language
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Skilled at working within a team-orientated, collaborative environment
