The position is responsible for underwriting assessment, answering sales team/customers’ enquiries and handling various underwriting duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform underwriting assessment to both medical/non-medical cases within acceptable risks and approval limits
• Assist to review and update the underwriting guidelines, forms and procedures
• Liaise and negotiate with re-insurers when required
• Provide operational support/answer inquiries to sales team
• Participate in UATs and ad-hoc tasks when required
• Organize and conduct training to brokers in Underwriting

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder with professional insurance qualification (e.g. FLMI or ICA)
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in life underwriting
• Strong analytical and problem solving, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be multi-task and work under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is preferable
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
