Responsibilities

• To undertake underwriting evaluation and risk assessment on both new and renewal businesses in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines
• To assist the manager in achieving business objectives for the production of premium income, healthy growth, underwriting profitability and customer satisfaction
• To supervise subordinates in providing quality client service including quotations, enquiry handling, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements and amendments.

 Requirements:

• University graduate; holders of ACII / ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent would be an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in general insurance particularly in the local brokers and agents market dealing with SME type business
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
