Responsibilities:

• Closely work with the CEO and various stakeholders to detail out a clear industry specific strategy to deliver and drive ongoing initiatives for business value creation and transformation through implementation of new technologies, new competencies and adoption of new business models to reboot existing businesses to meet new and changing market trends

• Act as a strategic partner to various stakeholders to identify underperforming subsidiaries and deliver a turn-around/enhancement strategy to ensure that these entities can catch up on their business plan/budget

• Ensure the annual budget of different subsidiaries are aligned to the strategic vision of the business as set out by the Board

• Lead evaluation of financial viability and strategic impact of new investment/venture and play a key role in nurturing the new investment/ventures to ensure alignment to Group vision and delivery of business value according to feasibility studies.

• Lead and monitor different subsidiaries in establishing robust and prudent financial ratios in alignment with Group policy and to ensure compliance and financial discipline.

• Detailed oversight of the progress of the Group and subsidiaries against the budget and against market/industry’s best-in-class

• Proactively identity strategic cost optimization opportunities across the group and subsidiaries and work with the management teams to implement coordinated management programs to drive sustainable cost optimizations that deliver clear impact to the bottom lime

Requirements:

• University degree in Business Management, Finance or relevant discipline

• Proven experience as COO or relevant role

• Demonstrable competency in strategic global corporate and business planning and development of diversified industries

• Strong in finance, accounting and corporate strategy

• Capable to lead various internal and external professional teams globally on assignments and daily operations

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and strong numerical skills

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles

• Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.

• Excellent decision making and problem solving skills

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
