Summary Statement:

Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Marketing Communications, the Marketing Executive executes the integrated marketing communications projects according to the strategies and revenue objectives defined by Asia Business Unit

Representative Duties:   

• Execute integrated marketing communications projects utilizing the following tools: public relations, advertising, promotions, merchandizing, events, tradeshows, sponsorships, online and channel communications
• Assist the development of marketing communications programs designed to support global strategies as set by the Global Marketing, including the design of regional variations to these global strategies to support remote Shure offices, including China and Japan
• Analyze and report effectiveness of marketing communications investments and recommend changes in strategy or mix to improve effectiveness
• Prepare press release and other internal correspondence
• Coordinate general administrative work in the Marketing department
• Assist other business unit operations as requested by Senior Regional Marketing Communications Manager

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or liberal arts
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• A strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate graphic layouts for style and impact
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must. Proficient in Mandarin.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skill
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with desktop publishing (Quark Xpress, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and Web site development is a plus
• Knowledge of consumer electronics, audio technology is a plus
