Responsibilities:

• Deploy the corporate quality strategy and Quality Management System, communicate and co-ordinate implementation.
• Monitor total quality activities to ensure that the group's products and services are meeting internal and external quality expectations
• Promote Quality Excellence Initiative and drive quality performance improvement throughout the group.
• Inculcate the value of lessons learnt, mistake proofing and preventive focus for a continuous improvement culture mindset
• To identify and track potential technical and resource related problems, to initiate corrective actions and to implement the corrective measures and keep track the progress of the projects.
• To maintain, monitor and keep track the key quality performance metrics of the factories.

Experience:

• Degree in Manufacturing /Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Quality Engineering or related disciplines preferred in automotive industry
• 6 Sigma Black certification is required and Lean training is preferred.
• At least 8 years of solid relevant experience in manufacturing environment with minimum 5 years in Quality Engineering.
• Familiar with the international Management system such as ISO9001, ISO13485, TL9000, ISO14001,TS16949, OHSAS18001and SA8000.
• Familiar with Quality Assurance & Reliability Engineering tools such as SPC, CPK, FMEA, APQP, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA & DOE.
• A self-driven person with strong sense of integrity and remain assertive when encountering difficulties
• Excellent communication skills, a positive and “can-do” attitude
