Job Description

Our client is a leading FMCG principal – Personal Care Company in Asia. As it continues its ambitions of growth in SEA, they are now hiring an outstanding caliber as their Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager – Product Innovations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate innovation strategy. Develop 3 years’ New Product development plan to meet company’s growth objectives.
  • Perform a range of activities to effectively develop, launch and market new products for the region.
  • Evaluate market trends, consumer behavior and competitors’ landscape to identify and generate new product idea and concept.
  • Work closely with R&D to refine & optimize product design. Oversee new product development projects to meet market launch timeline.
  • Align with regional stakeholders and local markets to determine NP launch strategy.
  • Lead the development of new product proposition, and communication platform. Work closely with R&D, Regulation to determine product functional / efficacy claims.
  • Lead packaging development. Liaise and supervise graphic agencies to maximize NP on-shelf impact
  • Propose pricing strategy to ensure NP competitiveness. Co-ordinate & consolidate launch volume forecast. Work closely with finance & supply chain to analyze, determine product cost to achieve margin objective.
  • Conduct post launch analysis. Monitor, analyze, and evaluate new product performance and customer feedback to recommend and implement changes for product relaunch & revite.
  • Monitor and responsible for category Market Share achievement.
  • Monitor and responsible for category Net Sales & Margin achievement.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, with major in business/ marketing
  • With 8+ years of solid marketing /product development/ innovation experience preferably from FMCG/ Small Electronic Appliances/ Toys industry.
  • Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skill, a team player
  • Possess good project management skill, with ability to lead and influence cross functional working partners
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight timeline
