Job Description

Job Purpose:

To serve as primary point person and project leader for all marketing related support for assigned business unit.

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following company’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Brand Image (30%)

  • To work on tactical marketing plan that promotes TOPSHOP TOPMAN Hong Kong product offering and services
  • To work closely with marketing, merchandising, VM, and operation teams to ensure that the marketing programs are in line with the product offering and brand image
  • To implement the agreed special, regular and themed programs and events and communicate these appropriately
  • To manage social media: including Instagram, Facebook, Weibo, and Wechat

To retain and increase followers on social media by creating interesting content

  • To develop marketing programs to recruit new customers to the database as well as retain existing customers
  • To plan PR strategies and campaigns
  • To work with the marketing team’s calendar and create exciting and inspiring programs that retain our existing customers as well as internal staff
  • To source potential partners, appropriate for each program, to recruit new database

Relationship Management (30%)

  • To formulate a seasonal calendar of new and creative marketing programs
  • To plan the marketing calendar and events in advance, ensuring maximum communications and support for each of the different teams within TSTM HK
  • To work closely with sales and operations, VM, and merchandising teams and be proactive with in-shop/in-store needs for certain brands and assist to drive sales for the fashion business
  • To coordinate with vendors and other parties for execution of key programs and events

Financial Management (20%)

  • To develop and execute all programs within the approved framework and within authorized budget
  • To analyze and evaluate the results for all marketing activities, prepare reports as required on time including proposals, post mortems, CRM analyzing and various other requests appropriate for each program
  • To monitor the expenses of each campaign on an ongoing basis
  • To recognize business opportunities and be responsive to market conditions in order to maximize business opportunities and be competitive

Event Management (10%)

  • To ensure shop staffs are briefed and trained to ensure maximum benefit during all in-store special events
  • To coordinate with the suppliers during the installation and execution for special events
  • To always source new suppliers and business partners and maintain an updated list of contacts

Team Work (10%)

  • To demonstrate and reinforce the company Vision and Values at all times
  • To work effectively and be a team player at all times
  • To celebrate success with the team

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in marketing or equivalent
  • 3-4 years work experience in marketing and communications functions (both client side & agency experience relevant)
  • Experience within the fashion industry is preferred
  • Strong project management skills with attention to details across integrated marketing functions & consumer touch points
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, as well as strong budget management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 
  • Excellent command of English (Strong English copywriting skill for marketing copy preferred)/ Preferred proficient in Cantonese or Mandarin 
  • Personality to be outgoing, personable, strong inter-personal skills to build connections across many different internal departments and customer segments
  • Confident networking skills to drive key partnerships with corporate partners and social influencers 
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
