Hong Kong Life Sciences Society aims to nurture a vibrant community where life sciences students, researchers and entrepreneurs are well-connected with different opportunities.

Working closely with the Executive Director, the appointee is responsible for developing, launching and marketing a range of learning, engagement and networking activities. 

Responsibilities:

• Leading the execution of evening talks, programs, inter-disciplinary activities and other co-organizing events;
• Co-ordinating the delivery of the above-mentioned events and developing the membership scheme;
• Managing and monitoring the membership scheme and its database analysis;
• Designing and executing offline and online marketing campaigns for the Society's events and programs;
• Co-ordinating production of bilingual contents for different social media platforms and printed materials;
• Undertaking administrative responsibilities in managing speakers, partners, as well as marketing and event budgets.

Requirements:

• Possess a university degree in marketing, communications, event management, business or language studies, preferably with a practical knowledge in managing different social media platforms.
• At least 8 years of working experience in marketing, event management and/or public engagement.
• Possess strong co-ordinating skills and marketing sense, capable of leading events through every stage from ideas to completion, and to manage resources effectively.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
